Is there bicycle storage?

Yes, we have a bicycle rack where you may park your bikes. Details on renting bikes is at Saugatuck-Douglas Area FAQs

How far away is downtown Saugatuck?

The property is 1.7 miles from downtown Saugatuck. While the property is not walkable to downtown (unless you are ambitous), it is certainly bikeable. Besides driving, another option is calling the Interurban bus and having them pick you up from the property and take you downtown.

Do you have a pool?

We do not currently have a pool, however the beach is not far away!

Do you have baby items?

We have a high chair and pack and play, along with kid friendly plates, cups, and utensils. Please let us know in advance of your arrival if you need the pack and play. If you need additional baby items (such as cribs, strollers, toddler beds), contact Beachside Rental Services at 616-594-0425.

What household items come with the rental?

We provide hand soap, dish soap, dishwasher soap, trash bags, salt and pepper, paper towel, toilet paper, laundry detergent, and dryer sheets.
There is a hair dryer in each bedroom and an iron located in the laundry closet.
There is a beverage cooler and ice maker located in the bar area.
We provide personal toiletries such as shampoo, conditioner, and shower gel.
Firewood for the outdoor fireplace is complimentary.

What type of coffee maker to you have?

There is both a traditional coffee maker and a Keurig. We have some limited complimentary coffee and tea, however you may want to bring some more to make sure there is enough to last your stay.

Do you have a grill?

Yes, we have a large gas grill along with a smaller charcoal grill. The grilling accessories can be found in the kitchen. Propane is supplied for the gas grill.

What type of kitchen items do you have?

The kitchen is well stocked and should contain all that you need. Frying plans, large stock pot, toaster, blender, crock pot, mixer, baking pans, serving bowls and platters, coffee grinder, storage containers, ziplock baggies, etc.

Do you have Wifi and TV?

We have wireless internet service available at the property. There are three TVs (two in the Great Room and one in the bunk room). The TVs have the YouTube TV app streaming service for live TV, Disney+ app for movies/shows, and Netflix.

Do you have music players?

Yes, we have Bluetooth speakers in the outdoor pavilion and the side patio. Indoors within the great room, there is a Sirius music player available.

Is there an EV charging station?

Yes, we have an EV charging station at the property that is available for our guests.

Is there really basketball, volleyball, and pickleball?

Yes, we have them all including the balls! The mobile pickleball net can be setup in the parking lot. We also have cornhole, ping pong, and bocce ball.

Do you have a Karaoke machine?

Yes, you are welcome to utilize the Karaoke machine during your stay.

What time is check-in and check-out?

Check-in is at 4:00 pm and check-out is at 10:00 am Eastern time. We try to accommodate early check-in and late check-out requests when there is no guest turnover and the cleaning schedule allows. Early check-ins and late check-outs are typically not available in peak season (June-August).

Is there a washer and dryer?

Yes, we have 2 washers and 2 dryers, along with laundry detergent. You are welcome to do laundry during your stay.

What is the parking? Is there space for large vehicles?

We have a parking lot to accommodate up to 10 cars. It’s possible that there is space to accommodate your large vehicle or trailer, depending on the number of other cars you plan to have onsite. Please contact us in advance if questions about parking.

Is the property handicap accessible?

The property is handicap accessible, as no stairs make it suitable to make your way around. The entire lodge, including the entrance, is situated on the same level. Bedrooms 5 and 6 are most ideal for accessibility, as they have wider doorways. We have a shower stool if needed - please let us know in advance and we'll have it ready for you.

Do you allow pets?

We love pets; however, we do not currently allow them on our property. No dogs, cats, or any other animals anywhere on the property at any time. If the animal is a service animal, please reach out in advance to obtain approvals.

Can weddings be held at the property?

No weddings are not to be held at the property, regardless of the size. However, there are many great venues in the surrounding area such as the Ivy House, Inisfree Farms, Ravines Golf Course, Saugatuck Center for the Arts, The Felt Mansion, The Belvedere Inn, The Red Barn Event Center, the Blue Star Event Center, A Cut Above Event Center, the Blue Star Event Center, the Holland Civic Center, and Modales Winery.
